About Us

14th King’s Lynn is a Scout Group located in the village of North Wootton just outside King’s Lynn in Norfolk. Our Headquarters is on the disused railway line between King’s Lynn and Hunstanton. Close to the North Norfolk coast, countryside and the Sandringham Royal Estate.

We have a large hall with an adjoining fully equipped kitchen, a separate Leaders/Meeting room and share our headquarters with the local Guiding
sections

Being based on a disused railway line we enjoy plenty of flat outdoor space in addition to being surrounded on three sides by common land.

Our group is made up of a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and a Scout Troop.

We fit into the wider world of Scouting as a member of the North West Norfolk District in the county of Norfolk.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
